IT IS HERE!
The new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is like this: A VUS with an aggressive look, like a coupe while offering plenty of space for passengers. Presented in the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, it is already at your John Scotti Mitsubishi dealership in Montréal.
It has just arrived, be among the first to drive it.
The attractiveness of a coupe with the qualities of an SUV : this is exactly what the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has to offer. This new model indeed combines the best of both models. Solid thanks to its wide wheel arches and high ground clearance, it looks athletic at the same time with its distinctive beltline and its roof that slopes down toward the rear. The front fascia has also a sporty look thanks to its aggressive headlights and the chrome accents highlighting the black central area.
Elegant and practical, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross cabin reflects the exterior styling. The vehicle has decorative elements with aluminium and satin black finish that contribute to a very refined atmosphere. Moreover, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross should be equipped with the latest version of the Smartphone Link Display Audio system and its wide touch screen controller. This infotainment system supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for optimal smartphone integration.
The rear passengers should benefit from a large space despite the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross' sporty roofline. The rear sliding and tilting bench enables adjustment to provide a very comfortable sitting position.
The 2018 Eclipse Cross will be equipped with the best technologies developed by Mitsubishi.
The sporty spirit of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross also results in a very dynamic handling which is made possible thanks to the Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) and the Active Yaw Control (AYC), two technologies we find on the standard version. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine combined with an 8-speed CVT transmission which delivers an incredible driving experience.
In terms of options, the basic version will be much more than a standard version. The list of options is long: 18"wheels, fog lights, heated mirrors, heated front seats, automatic climate control, rearview camera and more.
4 versions of the Eclipse Cross will be distributed in Canada: ES, SE, GT and GT Diamond edition. As we have seen, all will be equipped with S-AWC technology. Seats made of leather will be available from the GT version which will also be equipped with additional technologies.
Both GT versions will be available with the Lane Departure Warning System and Adaptive Cruise Control. Additional equipment such as the heated steering wheel, head-up display and heated rear seats are also included.
As for the price, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross start at $27,798. Delivery, preparation and taxes are not included.
